Either the Fed is piling money into the market or everyone bought assuming the Fed would do that... I'm long GOOG and AAPL (latter as of the low this morning).. so I am just one tiny cog contributing to the effect. I don't believe in short-run market efficiency, that's why I do TA! Recently I got e-mails from this junk dating website from women in Senegal. At the second E-mail they do the Nigerian letter thing... The Nigerian letter scamsters have figured out a new slightly more sophisticated approach...
