the Islamic extremists of course won't condemn terrorists acts
they encourage terrorisms, but to what end? do they really think or actually believe random acts of terrorism will win their cause?
and what is their cause?
the problem is, it's a hard sell
and getting harder
they do not want separation of church and state, they want the government to be the religious authority, the law of the land to be the religious law of Islam, Islamic jurisprudence [In Islam, religion and social membership are inseparable: the ruler of the community has both a religious and a political status. The unitary nature of Islam, as a system governing relations between a person and God, and a person and society]
that is of course the non-Islamic culture it has evolved into - the pick and chose Islamic law - centuries of the inter-twining of social, tribal, and ethnic traditions
for in true Islam, Muhammad insisted that women have God-given rights that no human being may legally infringe upon
try selling archaic, tribal, even barbaric teachings to the majority of today's world
no gambling, no alcohol, no pork or meat [meat is permitted if the animal was ritually slaughtered] no religious freedom of choice, loss of female freedoms, fasting, pilgrimages, religious judges and religious authorities who issues general legal opinions, control over what you read, what you watch
no wonder they feel they have to use terrorism to sustain it, to sell it
for who in their right mind, given the choice, would buy into it
