The ME people tried a multitude of doctrines from communism to fascism to capitalism to whatever you can think of. None produced the right results and those who had some potential were nipped at the bud by US. Jihadists are just the only venue of struggle left. Give them a better alternative and you will see less support for the Jihadists. >> They see them selves as the Arc commanding the rains. I believe they are wrong and must be stopped. I agree with this completely. Just remember, when you destroy something, you'd better have a good replacement for the vacuum you create, or the results can be even worse than what you took out.
