Yesterday's bombings in downtown London are profoundly disturbing. In part, that is because a bombing in our mother country and closest ally, England, is almost like a bombing in our own country. In part, it's because one assault may have involved a suicide bomber, bringing this terrible jihadist weapon into the heart of a major Western capital. That would be deeply troubling because open societies depend on trust - on trusting that the person sitting next to you on the bus or subway is not wearing dynamite.

You know I am tired of hearing from these soft journalists. Such tripe. If they can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. What the hell did everyone expect...........that the laws of physics operate differently for Americans and their 'mother' country? Such merde! Iraqis go through these bombings on a daily basis. We are fortunate that they only afflict us once every few years.

At least the Londoners are not so naive........they were expecting to get hit. That's what happens when you invade another country and create lots of enemies. Its too bad.....the Londoners are smarter than their tin hat leader........Mr. Blair, Bush's poodle.

Sorry, MM, but I grow tired of these solemn and soleful complaints......that a bombing in Iraq is another part of the war on terror but a bombing of London or NYC is a "civilizational" problem. Hell........is there such a word as "civilizational"?

Enough........all I can say to Friedman, grow up! Things will not be safe again for a long time. So stop whining like a baby. This is America's new life, get used to it!
