Re: FMTI

It started on a near term uptrend on June 30 from the 1.75 level It was able to go through the resistance at 1.92 (the H of June 14) and the $2.10 level (the double top on Apr.1-Apr.5)

It now will face the hurdle from the March 2 H at 2.64 (is now trying to close that day's upgap)Today's volume is already more than 2x the daily average.

The revenues on the March Q were up 45% (4.7M vs. 3.3M )but the loss was a penny higher.

It is planning on presenting results from two FM-VP4 "pre-clinical studies" at the AAPS conference in November.

One is regarding FM-VP4 in combination with MRK's Zocor in rabbits on a high fat and cholesterol diet.(That reminds me of the study by Cook et Al. from Stanford some 40 or 50 yrs. ago on a similar model, which showed good results with L-Arginine, which at the time was not identified as yet as the precursor of EDRF or NO. I sometimes take a capsule of L-Arginine, since I liked the results of Cook et Al in the green Journal, albeit it is not a popular drug among cardiologists.<g>)

The other study that they are planning to present is one to determine if FM-VP4 decreases body-weight gain in a mouse model fed on a high-fat diet.

FMTI will announce the results next month, when the abstracts on the AAPS website are available.
