A major point of this discussion is whether or not that statement is true. "They are all just cells with an evolutionary history. TP Can you prove that there is nothing more to a fetus? The system of a fetus is far more than just individual cells. Can you prove the point in time or development at which it becomes self aware (your test of fellowship)? As far as I know this is not solely a biochemical accomplishment and can't be proven either way (instant of existence vs non-existence), so what purpose is served by making such a declaration.
