I thought you would appreciate a quick update on the June 16-19 Event in Loreto and to know about the extraordinary next phase of Loreto Bay, "Aqua Viva" with homes scheduled for release on October 20-23, 2005.
The June event was a resounding success! We sold out all the Village Courtyard and beachfront homes in the Founders' Village with a total of 47 home sales. A few custom golf course lots remain as well as some of the wonderful Casa Nopoló Posadas'. These properties are being offered for sales in the "Whisper Program" through to July 16th in an effort to sell these fabulous properties in advance of the October Event. There is also the added advantage of being able to purchase one of these homes prior to any price increases this fall.
We are proud to say that one of the highlights of the week-end was a public celebration on Friday evening in Loreto's historic plaza where the Loreto Bay Company presented the Governor of Baja California Sur a check for $150,000 to start the construction of a new hospital for the town of Loreto. We also committed to raise a total of $800,000 for the completion of the facility. Many officials were present, including ministers and the mayor. It was a festive event with refreshments, music, dancers in colorful costumes, singers and speeches.
Construction is now moving along smoothly and quickly with three qualified contractors on site and over 400 workers with that many more scheduled to start this summer. The streetscapes are charming with so many homes in various stages of construction, and many just weeks from completion. The Founder's Village will achieve new heights with the finishing of a streetscape including the planting of edible trees such as orange, grapefruit and mango and visual appeal of bougainvillea climbers!

Phase Two "Aqua Viva" releasing this October
One of the signature features of 'Aqua Viva' is the "living water"! There will be soft edged estuaries and hard edged canals running throughout this new neighborhood linking it to a minimum of three other Villages. These estuaries will be the beginning of a 5 mile stretch of canal-like waterways where you can kayak and bird watch along the way. Homes will front on estuaries, canals, the beach, the golf course or will be in close proximity to waterways with views of the Sierra de la Giganta Mountain Range. At the center of this new neighborhood, surrounded by water on all sides, will be an artist's center with studios and shops.
