I know everybody is impatient, and disappointed that we have not seen the BD report yet, but some of the posts I have seen today border on psychotic. It seems as though people are linking every little downtick to the absence of a BD report, and therefore blaming IPM. This is absurd. And let's not forget, it was BD who said they needed another 30 days, so why blame IPM for BD's delay? Not that delay in results from 3d parties is unique to IPM---try visiting some gold jr. threads, and you will find that delays in releasing assay results, or management missing promised release deadlines, is the MOST COMMON complaint.
Which leads me to a more fundamental point---either you believe the gold is there, or you don't (unless you're a day trader who only knows IPM by its symbol and chart, in which case I'm not talking to you). I have invested in IPM for the long run, meaning that I will not sell until after the BD report, certainly, and probably will maintain most of my position long after that. All of the stock's action up and down until then is a sideshow, interesting to watch, but not of any real significance. Yes, I get caught up in the trading activity also, but it is entertainment for me, not a life or death matter, and certainly not a basis for investment decisions.
One more thing---there's been lots of negative chit chat accusing people on this thread of attempting to manipulate the price of IPM and other stocks, by touting them or trashing them on this thread. I don't buy it. Looking back over my own posts, I have been negative or positive on stocks depending on such variables as whether I have a headcold, whether I won or lost a motion, and whether I got laid a reasonable time prior to posting. Superficially, however, one could read my posts and accuse me of attempting to manipulate stock prices...and they would be wrong. Nor do I think there are enough shares on this thread to move the market much one way or the other, anyway....
I doubt if any one of you will agree with everything I said, so feel free to agree with what you like, and flame me for the rest
