However a Catholic president was first elected 45 years ago
And a Catholic president was last elected 45 years ago.
And then was killed. (That's not the reason, but it is true.)
I don't think the Red states will vote for a minority person. There is enuf prejudice in blue states, so that they might not even Kerry all the states Carry won. Hispanic candidates would have a good base in Calif and the SW, but I'm not even sure an Hispanic could win state-wide in Calif.
Ginsburg was appointed. But I've got 2 Jewish senators, and it was never an issue here; at least openly. And if the junior one,who I think is unelectable as prez, runs, I'm heading to NH to work afor her.
"However, given the number of interracial marriages and kids, 25 years from now, we won't even pay attention to that stuff", he said, crossing his fingers and thinking of Tiger Woods.
I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky Are also on the faces of people going by I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?" They're really saying "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow They'll learn much more than I'll ever know And I think to myself, what a wonderful world Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Oh yeah
WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD Satchmo
