VirTra Systems Completes Immersa-Dome Project - June 15, 2005
ARLINGTON, TX - June 15, 2005 - VirTra Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VTSI) today announced successful completion of an Immersa-Dome™ promotional project for a major U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturer.
The promotion was designed for the American Diabetes Association's 65th Annual Scientific Sessions conference, held last week in San Diego. The installation featured three Immersa-Dome units with the highest quality multisensory video yet utilized by the company. The experience, produced specifically for the Immersa-Dome, creatively combined computer-generated graphics with high-definition video.
The pharmaceutical manufacturer's promotional agency for the event, Impact Unlimited of Dayton, New Jersey, conceived the promotion. "We were highly impressed with VirTra Systems' Immersa-Dome and its ability to envelop viewers with memorable multisensory effects," commented David Sherman, Impact Unlimited's producer. "We have utilized virtual reality for our promotions in the past, and we find the Immersa-Dome superior in many ways to headset-based systems. The promotion is a definite success."
"We are proud that Impact Unlimited chose VirTra Systems as its technology partner for this promotion," commented Tom Milks, VirTra Systems' vice-president of advertising and promotion. "Impact Unlimited is excited about the strengths of the Immersa-Dome and its potential in the tradeshow industry. We expect more projects with Impact Unlimited in the not-too-distant future."
