re: Good op-ed. Tony is a great leader. I wish the U.S. had leaders like him. He's eloquent, does what he thinks is right despite domestic sentiment, and knows how to take a balanced approach to things. Maybe we'll get lucky and get a decent leader in 2009. If we had had a "European" approach to terrorism after 9/11, the world would be a much better place right now. I still think forming an international force to combat terrorism would be very effective. Take the best and brightest terrorism experts from each country, share intelligence, and go after the bad guys. It's an international problem, why not create an international solution? Imagine how effective those folks could be, if given the autonomy to do their jobs. John
