Oh; still planning. Let me tell you 'bout Mendonesia, the side nobody know, the side the Chambers of Commerce won't tell you.
Rains a lot. Alligators on the golf courses. Only a few golf courses inland. Further north you go, the more green yer skin grows in the winter. Bad traffic jams; get delayed 2 or 3 times a year by turkeys humping, or gucking, in the road. Not many good eating places inland; no sun on the coast. Close to the Clinton Fault.More crazies/sq mile than Berserkely. Most of the hippies in the world. Sometimes bears cause traffic accidents. Flatlanders...lots of flatlanders come thru here in the summer. Lots of choppers in the sky. Cowboys. Indians.
You wouldn't like it here.
Actually,it depends on why you are coming. South, Ukiah, is closest to jobs. Cost of living a bit more on the coast. More land is available as you go north. It's hard to go wrong. More isolated and drier as you head east. I like the north end. My favorite place is right where I am; not for sale. :>)
My favorite town is L'ville.
