I'd guess more towards the coast; Ft Bragg, Mendo, etc, up towards the skyline if you want land. There is actually a small winery north of FB.
There are a number of small theater companies on the coast; there are some inland, but I get the sense the coast is better. Lots of small good eating places, because of the tourist industry.
Is Whole Foods a chain? If so, won't find it here. But L'ville has the Good Food Store, Willits has Maraposa Mkt,
Ukiah Nat Foods, Harvest Market on the coast, and about 8 Farmers Markets. Pick yer day, pick yer place.
Probably more organic growers than anywhere else in the world. Organic wineries, an organic brewery. But no Whole Food Store. |
