Actually it's better than that.
Basically the county gave them the land which is worth many millions and the state is writing the checks. All for the establishment of a "tech" center in Palm Beach county. Basically they gave them whatever they wanted.

there has been only one fab in Fl that I know of and it was in Orlando I think and owned by Lucent...I think it shutdown. I don't think that hurricanes and fab's mix. Just the impact of a power glitch to a fab as a indirect effect of a storm would be bad.


Power glitch, you have to be kidding us.
In Hudson we installed a dozen Caterpillar Diesel generators which produced much more power than was actually required.

Anyone who built a fab without emergency power deserves to lose it. In fact it just isn't done that way!
