Burn2learn Re... would suppose they have some sort of battery backup system for certain elements like monitoring or other critical aspects of the whole. I'm no fab guy, I was involved with the construction of the fab, structural to be exact. There is a company near us, (my brother worked there in fact), which makes big devices,(it used to be rows of capacitors, I believe), now they are like magnets, which store electricity, in coils, just for such an event. He said they were used as back up in hospitals though, for what it is worth,however I assume something similar would be used there.
