But, that aside, I'm not claiming that Reps & Dems are identical. The Dems would well like to raise taxes the few % needed to balance the budget. The Reps will fight hard for a few % less. The polarising votes on the Hill are over those few %. Don't you understand that?


So you agree that the Reps want to cut taxes, while the Dems want to raise them...and this is what you call having identical philosophies. Gotta admit, you've lost me there.
