No, I do expect a huge drop in home prices in some areas. Compared to 1990 it doesn't look like we will have as bad a correction in the commercial RE area nor will the whole banking system collapse. Also the oil patch is not in housing bubble this time. Add it all up and even an average 30% drop in today's bubble markets pails in comparison to that debacle. Can you also explain why England's stock market is now sitting at the top of its multiyear trading range even though the housing market is already in a downturn?
