Last I checked, Brewster-Jennings, the company Plame was working for, was tracking WMD activity for the CIA, along with getting back-channel data on Saudi oil production and reserves, both of which was rather useful to the CIA. Now we have the president, who promised accountability, looking the other way when it's clear that someone within his administration outed Plame, hiding behind the law to protect his closest advisors. And we have Rove parsing the law in a manner Clinton would be proud of.
