Sure. In the industry the standard of reliability is Customer perceived DPM (Defects per Million). It doesn't matter what mistakes Tom made in the test because it's Intel and AMD's Customers who decide and decide based on what they perceive.

I should have added another factor:

Customer Relationship, Availability, Reliability, Support, Roadmaps and Credibility. How likely is Intel or AMD to deliver on their promises?

You see it's not just about fleeting Benchmarks.
