I fully accept "blame" for anything inaccurate I post. But it is very-very rare. Maybe 1%. Kerry was not only in Paris, he helped end the Vietnam War, with one purpose in mind, to save the lives of US soldiers and bring the POW's home. He did nothing wrong. And in 1971 it was the right thing to do. Furthermore, in 1971 the war was generally understood to be a complete and total failure by the majority of Americans. Nixon was dragging his feet. Kerry gave him a push. Read the Watergate tape transcript and you'll see just how pressured Nixon was by Kerry's brave and honest efforts. The smearvets are total liars though. They claim Kerry was "communist controlled" and try to morph his actions with those of much more radical figures like Hubbard or Fonda. Kerry is on record as having openly opposed such radical anti-war efforts, as the FBI reports confirm. The smearvets ought to be F'ing ashamed of themselves, but they aren't because they're paid-off, immoral rightwing extremists. I'm also quite sure the smearvets worked for Karl Rove as part of yet another Rove-Bush smear campaign against a US war hero.
