My reply was to his remark that why would anybody concern with a trout while there are other ills in the world.

I saw some expert fishing (on sport channel I believe), and yes, I saw the mouth of the fish was mangled! Barbless hook? So there is no damage whatsoever?

No, I am not vegetarian. I like beef better than fish.
