OFF SUBJECT. NOT QDEL. Check out the OVIS thread.
Evidently that stock got hammered by the shorts. The CEO is reacting
by forming a non-profit organisation to work with the SEC about
abuses of shorting bulletin board stocks. BUT THE REALLY INTERESTING
thing is that the OVIS threaders appear to have formed a cartel to fight the shorts. Even listed the names of the cartel. Last week
they all got together and were buying the stock, on Thursday, the day
I watched, they got it up from 2 1/2 to 4. But the other thing the
threaders were doing, was demanding delivery of their certificates.
Trying to dry up the pool of stock that could be borrowed by the shorts. I had never seen anything like it. I lurk on another thread
and some of the guys on that thread were joining in with the OVIS guys
to help them out. Seemed like a dangerous risk of mony to me.
