No I never said that anything was narrow of you or your statement at this matter. I agree on all of the points you made and I feel as you do that damage will be done as end of my post suggested if reprice occurs. I said that belief if option will be repriced bears the message that high level of trading or higher previous price of the option is in no more reachable in mind's of insiders does not hold arguement. What I said was narrow would be accepting above reasoning and the safe approach would be insisting on buying only at level of the lowest price of unexpired option since that must be the place where profit starts and ultimatetly anything with any spread is just overvalued. Example of GHE is 0.64 granted in January of this year. Now it becomes possible, back then every buy would be considered as helping insiders to profit therefore not smart investment tactic based on option pricing alone if you will be consequent in accepting first statement. The move of repricing the option has ability to move mgmt to better favourable position but I would see this not being dictated only by greed but also a need of the moment in some situation. Some of those options in case of Hemlock are already executed. The last one at 1.07 of May 22 still shows under some names as a grant of options with the number of shares. Hemlock has no money, they have equipment it seem remembering last Mexican war and they are talking to the major to solve this problems. I can hope that for our sake they will never do that. Knowing about this, about their PR and their own support for the share price I would doubt they have any problems to go for it and it would look as they have good explaination for it as well.
Hugh what is your net telling you?
Robert
