Sex Ratio shifts in some Indian States due to technology and availability of gender selection censusindia.net It is < 800 females /1000 males in Punjab a 'rich' state. Some of the richer North Indian states have it the worst. Nature takes its course in the states that are too poor to afford gender selection. But even in a poor state, the richer/ more urban areas suffer from this problem.
