It was hard. I'd experienced 9 deaths of friend and family over a 6 year period. The last straw was my Dad dying 21 days before my grandmother (his mother) in 1995. My synapses or hormones or what ever is vital to normal function went on the fritz and I couldn't stop crying.......and I'm not even the crying type. I cried my blues to the doc and she told me I was clinically depressed. She ordered Neurontin, so I tried it....quit smoking at the same time. I don't know what it did, but I felt better and went off a few months later. Hadn't ever been on an antidepressant before nor since.

Maybe I should have looked up Tom. -gg-
