Mr. Jurgens:

I checked with my broker's material and the long position must expire no sooner than the short. Therefore, i wouldn't be able to sell
the APR call and be long the JAN call. You presented some
ideas for thought. Maybe, if i purchase JAN deep in the money
calls, this should eliminate some of the time decay, and then
sell OCT, NOV, and etc along the way. In addition, since
ASMLF is a foreign corporation, they do not report quarterly. The
company reports semi-annually. A prior post mentioned
about the credit being a debit, in your example. The logic still remains.
