Gas prices all over Europe:

oeamtc.at (This comparison provided by tourist information is updated on a biweekly basis).

Prices in western Europe range from Eur 1.0 to 1.428. Amazingly, Norway shows nearly the highest price all over Europe with EUR 1.423 (= US$ 1.71 per litre, or nearly $6.50 per gallon) second only to the Dutch, even topping the UK.

Germany shows EUR 1.22 (1.27) or $1.47 per litre unleaded. France is slightly cheaper with about $1.42.

On average, fuel is now well ahead of $1.40 per litre in western Europe and a little less in Central Europe but it appears not to deter folks from driving.

There are even several countries showing higher prices for Diesel compared to unleaded. This is astonishing as Diesel is nothing else than cheap heating oil with a slightly different colour and taxation.
