Re: We can end this disagreement simply by you showing me where it says the Madrid police accuse ETA of doing the job. After all, the former Prime Minister lost his job over making that misquote.

LOL... Frankly, who cares about what Spanish cops have to say about the Madrid bombings? Their job consisted basically of trumping up a coverup that fitted the government's theory... And by "government" I don't mean merely the party in power at the time (Aznar's Partido Popular), I mean the nexus of Spanish ruling elites that somehow coerced PM Aznar to backtrack.... Anyway, below is the clue to my conviction that ETA perpetrated the Madrid bombings:

Well, you just joined the ranks of the myth based righties......if its in the mainstream media, then it must be a lie. Aznar is simply sticking to his story in order to save face........he made the announcement nationwide that ETA was responsible and lost his gov't over it. To say otherwise now would be to admit he lied. Berlusconi's support is simply one rightie supporting another rightie.

An al Qa'ida cell did the bombings in Madrid.........its no more complicated nor no more a conspiracy than that.
