Why would a political hack like Rove even know Plame's identity?

As soon as Wilson wrote his article Rove would have called his contacts and demanded all information on Wilson, including everything about his family, and including secret information from FBI and CIA. Those directors were put there for a reason, and that reason is to serve Cheney and Rove! That is how Rove operates! He and he alone decides how to destroy reputations, although the staff can make recomendations.
