Rick--I think we're getting too far afield from issues that directly concern QUALCOMM. But, having served for many years in the U.S. Foreign Service, and having worked overseas in developing countries, including Indonesia, Turkey, and Tunisia, and having also worked hand in hand with CIA personnel overseas, I know a few things about development, economics, and national security. In my day, if I had done some of the things being done now by top ranking administration officials, I would have been fired on the spot. Security is more than just a strong military and a strong economy. It has to do with how the U.S. interacts with the rest of the world. It also requires personnel with a great deal of skill, not just ideologues. I could go on, but this is the QUALCOMM thread, and I'm chiefly interested in learning about how QUALCOMM will fare in these turbulent times.
