True. But they are also released under many other circumstances. For example, a dopamine release is often experienced by chronic gamblers when engaging in their favorite activity. Hence the addictive quality of that activity. Engaging in life threatening activities can also do the same, especially amongst males in their late teens and early twenties. Of course, wowing the babes is also part of it. Orgasm also mediates an endorphin release...
