Mindmeld, It's our economy they hit, ten. If you think about it, one thing all Americans agree on is commerce. WTC was our symbol of commerce. So they hit our biggest symbol. Hitting theirs would be a proportionate response.

Seems like our economy is holding out just fine. And like you said, the Twin Towers were a symbol. Nothing more.

Contrast that with Islam's holiest of holy places, Mecca. Muslim believers have to take a pilgrimage to that city once in their lifetimes. The importance of Mecca is on a whole different level. Bombing it would mean that everything has already gone to hell, and I don't think we're there yet.
