unfortunately, he also seems to have some sort of messiah complex...at least according to the part of the program i heard where he was talking about his good works at the 'ranch'

He does great work for the ranch but his show spends at least 1/2 hr or more every day talking about the ranch. i think it drives listeners away. He used to talk about it and advertise some of his products but it has gotten very heavy coverage in the last year.

I also think his guests increased as to msnbc news folks. advertises a lot of the msnbc programs daily. and seems to rely on same guest list.
