TP, so you're all for the liberal version of the Buchanan doctrine, just like Ted. Fair enough.

Just don't pretend you can also pursue Al Qaeda when it's pretty much turned more into an ideology than a real underground network. After all, any nutcase with a bomb can say "I work for Al Qaeda" without having any formal contact with Al Qaeda operatives. My belief is that those who struck London fall into this category.

There was a time pre Iraq when al Qa'ida was simply a terrorist organization and not an ideology. But thanks to a certain president and his party, those days are gone with the wind and now his people are trying to admonish the rest of us when we talk about going after al Qa'ida. This would all be very comical if it weren't such a disaster. ;~)
