I was looking at a different problem. It is estimated that there are currently an excess of 19 million men in China. Because of status issues the birth rate ratio problem puts an estimated 80 million men roving in an unattached classification. That translates to criminal and social problems that are stressing the culture.

The real boom of extra boys has not matured to man hood yet but most Chinese people on the street dismiss the problem suggesting they will probably emmigrate to Europe or the USA. And so, this problem which is still in the incubator, IMO, will erupt on the world in a decade or so. Add India and other major population centers that have legislated birth control and you may begin to grasp the scope of the problem.

Have you ever seen groups of roving (marauding) young men looking for purpose, who did not impact the world in a very significant way? Usually a violent one.
