My question was not "did the "laws of war" apply to them, or even where they properly applied by the Americans. My question was did they get due process and what did it entail.

constitution.org

Was simply unhelpful

pbs.org

Goes in to the rights of prisoners of war. It doesn't deal with due process rights but rather with rights like to humane treatment and liberty in the exercise of their religion.

The US government has declared that even though the terrorists do not have the status of POWs that they will be treated in most ways as if they did have the protections of POW status.

Some of the protections they are not granted are things like -

"The Convention also required belligerents to send seriously sick and injured prisoners of war either back to their own country or to a neutral third country as soon as the individual was in a condition capable of withstanding transport."

Getting back to the original question. What due process rights did enemy POWs get in WWII? Where they "entitled to review of their status before a neutral fact-finder, , notice, the opportunity to be heard, the presumption of innocence, the right to be present, the right to know what evidence is being presented against him, and the right to controvert that evidence."? Where they entitled to any appeal of the decisions of the "neutral fact-finder"? I think not, but I maybe you can show me that my opinion here is incorrect.
