That problem very much existed and DOES exist in Canada with our Aboriginal population. Native women were able to join the larger culture by mating with disadvantaged or sub-productive Whites. Male aboriginals were not so successful at entering the larger culture (even at a bottom rung) by intermarriage. This left (and leaves) a generation of male aboriginals seeking to empower themselves by whatever means are available. Often this means the joining of street gangs and the gainful employment of selling drugs, etc. Yes...I can see that you have brought up a major potential for trouble considering the imbalance and the sheer numbers. I guess the God, Ares, will deal with it...sigh.
