  	    TORONTO, June 28 /CNW/ - SAMSys Technologies Inc. (TSX:SMY), an international provider of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) hardware solutions announced today the appointment of Mr. Ron Pinkus as the Company's Vice President of Marketing. 	    With over 25 years of experience serving the hi-tech industry including the last five in the RFID market space, Mr. Pinkus is known for his expertise in new product innovations. Prior to joining SAMSys, he held a number of senior marketing and product management positions at leading companies such as ExxonMobil Speedpass, Transcore, Texas Instruments, and others. His career achievements also include founding a prominent computer networking company. 	    Ron joined SAMSys in November 2004 as director of product management to build and support its vision of becoming a worldwide leader in the RFID market. As Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Pinkus is responsible for all of SAMSys' marketing and product management programs, including new product launches and its go-to-market strategy and will be championing the process of bringing SAMSys' RFID reader systems to market.
