It may well be that they sold most everything they could make, just at huge discounts because they couldn't place it with tier 1 oems. That would limit the potential claims a lot.

It would also explain canceled orders because why would an OEM go with a design that AMD couldn't supply in volume? No need to conjure up illegal tactics to explain away this one.

Those yield records will certainly be subpoenaed.
