Actually, JF, I thought about it somewhat, and I think Rove's resignation might actually have an impact. It would be a huge moral victory for the Dems, while Republicans who also subscribe to the "Rove mastermind" image will be disheartened.

My only point is that Rove isn't the brilliant mastermind many credit him to be. However, his reputation is still there, whether his so-called "genius" was responsible for building it up or not, and that's still a juicy political target for the Dems.
