Eric, you may be surprised but I tend to agree with you. If only Clinton had had the guts to admit by a snappy "so what, sure" in stead of that stupid "I never had sex with that woman", the Americans had all loved him, the GOPs secretly so, and been proud of him, albeit some hypocrisy religious zealots in obscure corners, where they could stay in hiding. The GOBs would have rambled but even the French had respected the US and their First Man for that. And at the end of the day, a great man had spoken... I guess he listened to his lawyers in lieu of his own instinct. But the rest is unfortunate history. The difference between a great man and a loser sometimes is tiny indeed. But then again, being a clarinet and a sax player I may be biased. Taro
