Neal -

A lot of companies only book the sale when the customer actually pays. Most retailers would get at least 30 days to pay, I believe.

If Apple books the sale on shipping, then there is the possibility of channel stuffing. But I repeat, it would take an enormous amount of stuffing to come up with these kinds of numbers. Is anyone suggesting that Apple put more than a hundred thousand CPUs on retail shelves just to make this quarter look better? Or a million iPods?
