I have a hard time seeing it happen with cpus, but given the expansion in "points of sale" it's not complete lunacy to wonder about (relatively) low-ticket iPods. I personally don't think there is much of it going on - and really, what would be the point of inflating an already-impressive result? - but it would be difficult for us to know in anything resembling realtime.
