OTOH those who value Human life as the unique creation of a living merciful God are the ones who have taken those children left in garbage cans into their own homes and raised them as their own. This was the case in ancient Rome and it is the case today. Atheism is and always will be a force for selfish evil in the world. It has proved itself over and over again.
