Killing people in the heat of battle is one thing. Killing prisoners and people who have surrendered is something else entirely. I agree and American soldiers do not do that second thing. It is, however, SOP for Muslim terrorists to kill their prisoners. Gitmo is not a problem. It has set a new standard for the humane treatment of illegal combatants. The international rules of war are clear. These terrorists are being treated according to those laws or better. Our soldiers and captured civilians should be so lucky. Gitmo is a diversion created by the press. It keeps us from focusing on the horrendous treatment our own have received.
