I don't know about the Coffin's track record per se. But in the reading of their bits it is apparent that they bring a bit more of the knowledgeable miner sort of atmosphere to the newsletter analysis business. If I did not consider myself absolutely non-pareil in the field of hard-nose mining analysis, I would put them just about on par with with my own level of investigation and reportage.
