Rove said Plame was "fair game". He was on the attack.
He ID'ed her. Probably to all four journalists. We have the transcript of only one. The prosecutor has the other three.

Novak is also an old pal of Rove. Rove was fired from Bush Sr's campaign for leaking a story to Novak.
