SWAT was on the scene.

"SWAT" nationwide is out of control. To the point where they should consider abolishing the concept. Hardly a month goes by without some SWAT team busting into the wrong house or mishandling an arrest.

The problem we have here is "boys and their toys." Most cops grow up dreaming of being some sort of "Special Forces" expert. They go on the police force instead, and some end up on the "SWAT" teams. Here they are loaded down with all the equipment they have dreamed of, and given training to use it that doesn't begin to match what our special forces soldiers get.

This particularly breaks down where it is needed the most. At the supervisory level. People are directing them who don't have the training or experience to handle these situations, and they end up going in wrong and/or too soon.
