One of my best friends now was a SWAT officer for years. He went on to the FBI Academy. He is as well trained as anyone I've known. And he introduced me to other SWAT members who are highly professional. From a personal point of view, I have to say...I like SWAT and have never met one I thought was a dud. But, I give you this...the situation we are discussing was definitely not handled properly...not even close.
