The 'business' of government would likely have gone on, without the dismantling of the left wing social movement of the 60s to 90s, if bill clinton would have gracefully stepped aside and allowed his second in command to pick up the reigns of leadership, once his character issues became the focus of the American conscience.

He allowed his ego to override the best interests of the USA, at the cost of everything the social movement 60s-90s people had accomplished over thirty years.

If you want to place the blame on right wing attack dogs, feel free. However, the simplest and most beneficial solution for the left wing would have been for bill c. to behave more nobly than he did. Why they STILL like him, defend him, or dismiss his culpability after all that he cost them remains a mystery to me. If he were innocent it would be different.

FWIW, I feel the same about Rove (even though no guilt has yet been established). I would like it if he would gracefully remove himself from the lime light.
